A hand-written note is always appreciated and treasured.  The artwork on this boxed set of blank note cards is that of Edgar Degas.  On the inside of the box cover is a quote of his:  "Art is not what you see, but what you make others see".  The reusable box, hinged with magnetic closure, has 20 cards and envelopes.  There are 5 each of 4 designs that measure 4" x 5".  The 4 scenes are: "Dancers Bending Down, The Green Dancer, The Dance Class, Dancers in Pink Between the Scenes".   Edgar Degas is widely acknowledged as the master of drawing the human figure in motion.  His art experimented with depicting the psychology of movement and expression, the harmony of line, and the continuity of contour.  Through his dynamic paintings and sketches of everyday life and activities, Degas is considered one of the boldest and most innovative of his Impressionist contemporaries.  A great value for 20 fine art cards!
